Incident Command Level 4 Assessment - venue based
At the end of the assessment the delegate will have;
1.Established liaison with key fire service personnel and other agencies that may contribute to achieving strategic objectives.
2.Undertaken a situational evaluation to review the implications of exercising strategic command during an incident where multiple tactical commanders are operating, including approving tactical plans and prioritising resource needs.
3.Assumed command of the incident and worked in co-ordination with strategic representatives of other agencies to maximise effectiveness of the response.
4.Analysed the factors involved in setting and reviewing the strategy to develop a strategic plan to support the incident including measures to mitigate risk to the community, environment and the fire and rescue service business continuity.
5.Used advice and support from appropriate technical and professional sources.
6.Engaged media resources in conjunction with other agencies to inform and protect the community.
7.Modified planned actions in response to emerging needs and the impact of the incident.
9.Managed the liaison with other agencies using the JESIP Joint Doctrine principles to develop a Common Operating Picture (COP).
10.Ensured that the JESIP Joint Decision Making process is used for significant inter agency decisions.
11.Used the IIMARCH document to brief the F&RS representative attending SCG.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Level 3 and 4 incident commanders who are undertaking an operational competence assessment as part of a promotion selection process
NUMBER OF DELEGATES
A maximum of two delegates per day
Delegates will undertake on online prep course, a written assessment, observation by a qualified assessor with command experience at this level during a practical scenario simulation assessment.
£2229 plus VAT per day at one of our Kent venues

Peter Stanley Training is not responsible for the non attendance of client’s delegates at the client venue for a booked event.Cancellations due to delegate non attendance or other foreseeable business activity disruption(i.e operational requirements or industrial action) are subject to the following charges;
(i) less than 7 days full cost of the course is due.
(ii)8-14 days 50% of course cost (to cover pre-booked tutor hotels, loss of business payment to sessional tutors, student awarding body registrations and other associated costs)
(iii)Over 14 days no charge.
